Hi Everyone,
I have just returned home from a wonderful holiday to Canada and Alaska. The scenery was awe inspiring and absolutely stunning. I experienced and saw so much that I have come home regenerated and ready to create.
!00dayproject
Before I left I had embarked on a challenge of creating a painting a day for 100 days. My mission was to paint on the back of paintings that hadn’t made the grade or I wasn’t really happy with. I have accumulated so many over the years so I saw it as a way of repurposing and using up good quality paper that wasn’t being used. I divided the paintings into a standard size 18cm wide by 25cm high, approximately. The paintings didn’t have to be perfect, it was more the act of showing up each day. The #the100dayproject is a worldwide event that occurs once a year with 100,000 people participating.
I was having such a fabulous time and I didn’t want our holiday to get in the way of my mission. I packed a very small kit with the bare essentials very mindful of the fact I would have extremely limited space. You can check out my kit on my Instagram and Facebook page: @stephanieboyleart. The kit worked a treat and I was delighted to continue my painting journey. I am so chuffed the my fabulous visual diary of the many place we visited.
I do have plans for my paintings. I will let you know when I get organized.
