Hi Everyone
It has been a while since I have written a Blog so here goes. Time is just flying by which must be a sign of the busy lives we all lead.
This weekend I will have four paintings on display and for sale at the 51st Army Art Show. Details are below. This is always a fabulous Exhibition with a huge variety of art, sculptures, pottery and jewelry to view and purchase. Something for everyone to appreciate.
Recently I conducted an abstract Watercolour workshop at Jacksons Drawing Supplies, Balcatta. It was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed themselves and learnt something along the way. The demonstration painting is below.
If you are interested in attending workshops please let me know the day(s) that would suit you best. It is always interesting to know the subject matter which is of interest to you. Send me an email if workshops are something you would like to participate in. I can’t promise to accommodate everyone's wishes but there is no harm in asking.
In August this year, Cass Gartner and I invited the wonderfully talented Artist Yesim Gozukara to conduct a workshop in W.A. Yesim travelled from Victoria and proved to be a real joy as a teacher and a delightful person to have around. Everyone who attended the workshop learnt so much and appreciated Yesim’s skills and her willingness to share her extensive knowledge.
Cass and I are already planning our next workshop. We can’t wait to let you know who we will be inviting next year. We still have some more organising to do but it won’t be long and we will be making the big announcement.
