About

I was raised on a farm in the wheat belt township of Dudinin. I believe the freedom I was allowed as a child to roam far and wide without restriction, has enhanced my artistic vision. I consider myself extremely lucky to be able to express myself through my passion for painting.

I studied and completed a Certificate of Art and Design at West Coast College of TAFE.

I have attended Summer school on nine occasions at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst to further my technical ability. I have been tutored by Australia’s leading Artists in Watercolour, Acrylic and Mixed media. I am always looking to broaden and further my artistic knowledge by attending workshops and demonstrations.

I have taught Watercolours at Claremont School of Art on a part time basis. I have conducted workshops in Moora and Beverley to adult students and have given numerous demonstrations to different Art Societies in Western Australia.

I am a committee member of The Watercolour Society of W.A. Inc. In July 2015 members of the Watercolour Society participated in a joint Art exhibition in China as guests of the Chinese Government. We attended art workshops by leading Chinese watercolour artists. The Italian Watercolour Society invited members of the Watercolor Society of W.A. to exhibit in Alessandria, Italy in 2016. I was asked to give a technical demonstration of Yupo painting to the participating artists.

I have had a painting published in PERTH 2010- As We See It The Watercolour Society of WA Inc.

In the Creative Artist Magazine I have had an article published about my Art Studio in Roleystone and my art practice.

I exhibit widely throughout the state. My work can be found in many private collections.
